Monochrome Heart Shaped Dish

In stock

This is a lovely Fused Glass Monochrome Heart Shaped Dish, Candle Holder or Trinket Dish.

This particular heart is decorated with two shades of transparent grey glass and transparent and wispy black. I can make them to your colour choices – just leave a message when checking out. I also have listings for a Red dish, Blue dish and Rainbow dish.

Perfect as a gift for a loved one or for your own home décor.
There are lots of uses for the dish, you could use it as a jewellery dish, trinket plate or pop a tealight (battery or normal) in the middle and the light throws beautiful coloured shadows when the candle flickers.
These are foodsafe but should be gently handwashed.
This is a very tactile piece – the glass isn’t flat, each different colour is textured and slightly raised from the surface.

The monochrome heart shaped dish measures approximately 11cm long by 12cm wide.
There may be a slight variation in each item, due to the nature of the glass and the fact that it’s handmade.

I created this heart dish using a layer of clear glass and monochrome coloured glass shapes. It is fired twice – once to fuse the glass together and then again to mould it into a dish.

Delivery information:
Items are made to order and are posted Royal Mail Signed For.
Lead time is up to 10 business days from payment. If you need your order sooner, please contact me before you buy and I will do my best to accommodate your request, or use the “Rush order” option at checkout.

All orders are packaged extremely well to prevent damage in the post. The packaging I use is recycled and I encourage you to recycle or re-use the bubble wrap, foam and ribbons.

Colour preferences: I can usually always change colours to your choice at no extra cost, just pop a note at checkout.

I use the best glass available from Spectrum System 96. Each sheet of glass is handcut by me. All items are designed and crafted by me in my home studio. The whole piece is fused and properly annealed in my kiln for over 12 hours, aiding strength and durability.

Despite my attempts at photographing my glass art, it is sometimes difficult to capture the gorgeous colours, the texture and the tactile nature. I try my best but customers have often said that the pieces in real life are just so much “more” than in the photo’s! Colours may vary, depending on your screen settings.
